Arbitrator Juan Carlos Gonzalez Esq. has been in private practice conducting Labor Arbitrations since May 2012. He sits on various Labor Panels and Arbitrator Rosters. He is also a Hearing Officer for the Los Angeles Unified School District. As a Labor Arbitrator, Juan Carlos combines his legal analysis skills with his extensive experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements and workplaces to provide neutral and insightful decisions that are balanced both in theory as well as in practice.

Mediation
A former Commissioner for the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service for over 12 years, Juan Carlos Gonzalez has mediated over 600 cases in Labor Relations involving collective bargaining agreements, initial contracts, strikes, lockouts, grievances and supervisor discipline cases. He has also mediated Equal Employment Opportunity Commission cases for various Federal agencies. With a Master's Degree in Psychology and a Masters in Tax Law (Expected 2016), Juan Carlos helps families navigate difficult issues relating to their will, trust and estate planning.

Training
Juan Carlos Gonzalez has extensive experience in assisting organizations (Union and Management) in both the public and the private sector with the design, development and delivery of their Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) programs. Juan Carlos has also trained and facilitated organizations in Traditional Negotiations as well as Interest Based Bargaining (IBB). Finally, using his background in psychology, Juan Carlos has developed and delivers the program "The ABC's of Dealing with Difficult People."
